Once again this year, Sisteck is delighted to have participated in Fieracavalli Verona 2024, the oldest and most prestigious equestrian event in Europe, which this year took place from 7 to 10 November. Since 2002 we have been a fixed presence during this event, whose participation represents recognition of absolute trust and reliability on behalf of a complex and demanding sector such as horse breeding.

The history and tradition of Fieracavalli, a key event for horse breeding

This event has always been a reference point in the horse breeding sector and in the marketing of products dedicated to this activity. The first milestone in the realisation of this reality dates back to 1772, when the first exhibition centre for horses, mules, donkeys and hinnies was planned – and later built – in this geographical area. From this point onwards, for more than 100 years, numerous horse shows were held here, as well as the market for the best specimens, until 1898, the year in which modern fair history was created with the first edition of the Horse and Agricultural Fair.

Another key date is undoubtedly 1950, the year in which it became an International Fair and began to establish itself as a leading event on the European and, later, world equestrian scene. From this moment on, Fieracavalli had the task of keeping the noble and ancient traditions of the horse alive, becoming a true catalyst of interest not only for enthusiasts, but above all for all those who see in the figure of this animal an important symbol linked to art, music, sport and design.

Among the products we have developed is the C6 Birth Control Foaling Alarm, a kit equipped with a micro-transmitter and a receiver apparatus with GSM modem that is capable of registering up to 8 telephone numbers in its memory. The C6 Birth Control transmitter is installed inside the mare’s vulva during the last days of pregnancy and is activated at the moment when the birth actually begins. In fact, at these moments, the system sends a real-time notification to the breeder and to all registered numbers to signal the need for assistance. This allows breeders and veterinarians to avoid spending several sleepless nights before foaling, and to be able to experience the moment of a mare’s pregnancy with greater peace of mind.

C6 EVO Foaling Alarm, an evolution of C6 Birth Control

This instrument is, on the other hand, a kind of evolution of the C6 Birth Control, as it takes over its operation but also adds a practical touch screen to the system, making it easier to manage all the information. Again, the moment the transmitter is activated, its ID appears on the screen, which is then put in touch with all the numbers previously saved on the system.

A tool with additional functionality: C6 EVO IoT

Finally, the C6 EVO IoT (‘Internet of Things’) Receiver, represents the ‘smarter’ evolution of the C6 EVO, with the addition of new features. The interactive functionality of the LCD screen remains in place, and a WEB connection is also added, which, via a dedicated app, allows the menu and notifications to be managed remotely. This is the only system on the market that is able to combine voice calls, SMS and notifications at the moment of delivery, as well as allowing continuous software updating via WEB.
