C6 Birth Control Foaling Alarm is a kit equipped with a micro transmitter and a receiver with a GSM modem that registers up to 8 phone numbers.

How does it work?
The C6 Birth Control transmitter is installed in the mare’s vulva during the last days of pregnancy.
As with C6 EVO, the system is activated at the moment when foaling begins, notifying the breeder and all registered numbers in real time of the need for assistance.

Faq C6 Evo

As indicated in the user manual, during the period of non-use, we recommend leaving the system on charge for at least 24 hours every 15 days by connecting the power supply to the mains; this will allow the battery to be fully maintained.

The following checks are considered to have been carried out with the original power supply connected to the mains and to the C6 EVO, and the switch set to ON.

No LED lights up

Check the presence of mains power and the correct insertion of the power plug; if the problem persists, send the appliance complete with accessories for repair.

The power supply unit is defective or lacks power, replace the power supply unit with an original one.

This is one of the most common defects and can be attributed to various factors.
In fact, this LED will flash after about one minute from the insertion of the SIM card, only when the whole system is ready for operation; when even one of the parameters listed below is not satisfied, the green LED remains on with a steady light:

  • SIM not inserted
  • SIM with pin inserted
  • Missing ‘NT1VS’ ‘number’ in SIM address book
  • No signal for SIM operator
  • Antennas badly screwed in
  • SIM expired or no credit (for rechargeable)
  • SIM with 3G technology ONLY or higher (ask your retailer or operator)
  • Check that you are in range.
  • Check the function with another sensor and if it works with the latter, you must send the worn-out sensor to SISTECK for exchange (usually every two years, however, it is recommended to do this even if it is apparently not malfunctioning, the batteries inside have a natural self-discharge even if the device is not used).
  • If the green LED does not flash, follow the instructions above.
  • Check SIM credit or if EXPIRED.
  • Delete the previously stored phone numbers and repeat the writing process using a different phone (always taking care to store the numbers in the SIM card and not in the phone’s memory).
  • Internal base battery exhausted, leave on charge 24 hours then repeat, if problem persists send in for repair with SIM and all accessories.
